Welcome to Casona 1027: an architectural work by the prestigious Alric Galindez Studio, located in the exclusive private neighbourhood Arelauquen Golf & Country Club, with panoramic views of Lake Gutiérrez, Cerro Catedral and Cerro Ventana.
550 m² of exceptional design on a plot of almost 10,000 m², where Patagonian stone, wood and floor-to-ceiling glass create an experience that goes far beyond accommodation. For 12 guests · 5 bedrooms · 6 bathrooms.
The house unfolds across two levels with an architecture that dissolves the boundary between interior and exterior. Each space was designed to frame the landscape: the lake, the forest in autumn, the snow-capped peaks.
*Main living room:* sculptural fireplace clad in natural veined stone with visible fire, curved armchairs, exposed wooden beams and floor-to-ceiling windows with direct views of the mountains. The space is conceived for gathering around the fire whilst the Patagonian landscape occupies every inch of the horizon.
*Library/wine cellar:* a space to enjoy a good book and have a glass of wine; with a wine cellar built into a circular design window—one of the most striking details of the house.
*Kitchen-dining room:* large-scale natural stone island with direct panoramic views of Lake Gutiérrez, Cerro Catedral, Cerro Ventana and the forest in autumn colours all at once. Breakfast or cooking here is an experience difficult to forget.
*5 bedrooms:* clad in wood, double or single beds, warm lighting and windows that frame the garden and mountains. There are 4 en-suite bedrooms on the lower floor and one bedroom on the ground floor, ideal for those who prefer to avoid stairs (this can be integrated as an independent suite by closing the sliding door of the living room)
*6 bathrooms:* each bedroom has its own bathroom. The main bathrooms feature handcrafted basins carved from river stone, double vanity, heated towel rails, rainfall shower and built-in bathtub with a window to the garden—a private spa scene in the heart of Patagonia.
*Playroom:* entertainment room with TV and projector, with its own bathroom and storage space. The ideal space for films, matches or a family games night.
*Large indoor barbecue and Tromen oven*: wood-fired barbecue and Tromen oven integrated into the kitchen, fully equipped with barbecue plates and serving dishes
